DRAFT, DRAFT, DRAFT, DRAFT, DRAFT
Why has the so-called "Greatest Generation" and subsequent generations let down their children, grandchildren, and future generations?
"The Greatest Generation is a term used to describe those Americans who grew up during the Great Depression and fought in World War II, or whose labor helped win it. The term 'the Greatest Generation' is thought to have been coined by former NBC Nightly News anchor and author Tom Brokaw in his book by the same name." --

All through American history, and probably throughout the history of mankind, parents and grandparents strived the make sure their children were better off than themselves. This has always been the "American way" that I was taught from childhood. Somehow, we have let our children and grandchildren, and future generations down when it comes to the ever-growing size of the federal government, deficit spending, and the astronomical size of the National Debt.
According to Forbes, the National Debt could be $78 TRILLION by 2028. At the time of the article, in August 2020, the National Debt was $27 TRILLION and projected to be $30 TRILLION due to the enormous amount of spending being done under the guise of #Coronapocalypse spending. https://www.forbes.com/sites/mikepatton/2020/08/14/national-debt-to-surpass-78-trillion-by-2028-what-it-means-for-americans/
We are already seeing the Democrats pushing this new $1.9 TRILLION #Coronapocalypse spending bill that is above and beyond the already enormous annual national budget. This could be the first of many multi-trillion-dollar spending bills during the first President Biden term. Under President Trump, the #Coronapocalypse spending bills were under $1 TRILLION but that has already nearly doubled in Biden's first month in office.
