* Secretary of State Jay Dardenne
* Attorney General Buddy Caldwell
* Senator Conrad Appel

The content of your message is as follows:

Dear [The message(s) you sent had each recipient's name here]:

To MY Senators, Vitter and Landrieu:

Vote YES on the Murkowski Resolution, SJ Res. 26

The Environmental Protection Agency is an out-of-control bureaucracy attempting an unprecedented power-grab, seeking to regulate every aspect of our lives and take control of the U.S. economy by shoehorning greenhouse gas regulation into the 1970 Clean Air Act. There is no imaginable worse tool than the Clean Air Act, whose old fashioned, command-and-control regulations would devastate the United States economy.

The impacts of allowing EPA to continue with its proposed regulations are easy to see. It is your responsibility as a Member of Congress to stop them. Not by replacing Clean Air Act regulation with another economically ruinous scheme like cap-and-trade, but with clean pre-emption language that removes the threat. Codifying the "tailoring rule" will not resolve this issue and should not be allowed to be offered as a solution.

I therefore urge you to co-sponsor and to vote for the Murkowski Resolution under the Congressional Review Act, which would overturn EPA's proposed regulations. If you do not do everything possible to stop the EPA, I will hold you responsible for what EPA does.

To MY House Member, Steven Scalise:

The Environmental Protection Agency is an out-of-control bureaucracy attempting an unprecedented power-grab, seeking to regulate every aspect of our lives and take control of the U.S. economy by shoehorning greenhouse gas regulation into the 1970 Clean Air Act. There is no imaginable worse tool than the Clean Air Act, whose old fashioned, command-and-control regulations would devastate the United States economy.

The devastating impacts of allowing EPA to continue with its proposed regulations are easy to see. It is your responsibility as a Member of Congress to stop them. Not by replacing Clean Air Act regulation with another economically ruinous scheme like cap-and-trade, but with clean
pre-emption language that removes the threat. Codifying the "tailoring rule" will not resolve this issue and should not be allowed to be offered as a solution.

There are several bipartisan efforts underway that I urge you to support. The most important is the joint resolution under the Congressional Review Act, S.J. Res 26, which may pass the Senate and will need your strong support. H.J. Res. 76 is the companion legislation in the House and I urge to sign a discharge petition for House action. I also urge you to support H.R. 391, legislation that would pre-empt EPA's alleged authority to regulated greenhouse gases. If you do not do everything in your power to stop the EPA, I will hold you responsible for what EPA does.

For MY other elected officials, I STRONGLY SUGGEST that you go here and help to STOP the EPA's power grab by calling and emailing YOUR elected officials.

Re: Repeal the EPA Carbon Dioxide Endangerment Finding

The EPA is endangering population sustainability and economic growth

ALG (Americans for Limited Government) President Bill Wilson has urged the Senate to vote in favor of Senator Lisa Murkowski's resolution that would repeal an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finding classifying carbon dioxide as a pollutant.

IF CARBON DIOXIDE (CO2) IS A POLLUTANT, THEN I KNOW OF A WAY TO GET RID OF A LOT OF IT.... GET RID OF ALL YOU WINDBAGS IN CONGRESS WHO ARE EXPELLING CO2 AT RECORD LEVELS WITH ALL YOUR HOT AIR!!! EVEN MORE SO WHEN YOU'RE BLOWING SMOKE UP THE ASSES OF THE PEOPLE!!!

THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD REPEAL THIS FINDING... IF YOU DON'T, THEN YOU ALL ARE MASSIVE POLLUTERS AND WE TAXPAYERS SHOULD FINE EACH OF YOU JUST LIKE BP OIL IS BEING FINED FOR THEIR POLLUTION.

Surely, now you can see the stupidity in claiming that CO2 is pollution when it clearly is not and all plants/trees need CO2 in order to create Oxygen (O2) during photosynthesis. If we did away with CO2 creation, we would also be doing away with Oxygen creation.

ONLY CONGRESS COULD THINK THIS IS LOGICAL OR PRACTICAL. HOW ABOUT PROVING YOURSELVES TO NOT BE SO GOD DAMNED STUPID FOR A CHANGE!!!!

Sincerely,

Leonard Vasbinder
