South Louisiana had the Space-X rocket re-entry late at night on November 8, 2021.  Lots of people were sharing videos they took of the "shooting star" like-image of the rocket crossing the night sky.

Well, I have good news and I have bad news.

First, the bad news. My #Coronapocalypse antibody test came back negative, so, according to this test (which can give false positives and/or negatives), I have not had Coronapocalypse yet.

And the good news, you ask? After more than 18 months of licking doorknobs, going without a mask, not living my life in fear, doing everything that I wanted to do (for the most part), I did not catch this so-called highly contagious virus that 35 million other Americans have tested positive for in the U.S.

Of course, even after 18 months, with 35 million known positive tests, which is slightly more than 10% of the population, that further shows this isn't as "highly contagious" as the fearmongers would have the fearful believe it is.

In my readings so far, I have learned that there are two types of antibodies that form protection in two different parts of your body. There are mucous membrane antibodies that form in the mucous layers of the nose, mouth, etc. and those are the best antibodies to have as they stop the virus at the entry point. These are the antibodies that people who have actually had Covid develop. And there are the antibodies that reside in the rest of the body (from the vaccine) that still provide protection but also still allow someone to get Covid and be able to infect others, while not developing full-blown Covid.

Here is my next poke at the weather forecasters, who think they can predict climate change going out 10, or 100, or 1,000 years but they almost never get the 5-day forecast correct for hurricanes.  Will they prove me wrong with this one?

Here is the current 3-day forecast for Potential Tropical Cyclone Three. First, from the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and the National Oceanic And Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and second from Weather Underground (WU).  Usually, they have the same tracking info but the past couple of storms had WU giving their own tracking information since the NHC/NOAA has been so bad, especially this year with Gulf storms.  The third image down is from South Florida's computer model site, which has two of seven models coming to southeast Louisiana (New Orleans / Baton Rouge) but the other five models are going anywhere but the NOLA / BRLA area.

Normally, they start off with at least a 5-day forecast but this storm just popped up so there is only three days before it will make landfall (according to the forecast).

Updated June 18, 2021 8:00 p.m. CST -- 

So far, after 24 hours, the forecast track is pretty good although the track has moved to the east approximately 50 miles.  The storm has not intensified or died down and is still a weak tropical storm as the "eye" nears the coast of Louisiana south of Houma, then forecast track across Houma and crossing the western end of Lake Pontchartrain.  

The forecast 24 hours ago had the storm coming ashore southeast of Lafayette, then tracking to the west of Lake Maurepas.

The spaghetti models have tightened as well.

This started several years ago as social media became more prominent and so many people started getting their news (and so much fake news) from social media.  Every group from political parties to foreign countries creates "fake news" memes in hopes of ignorant victims spreading the memes because they believe the meme and it fits their narrative.

Here is one I saw on #Fakebook this morning.

I'm not sure if Frank J. McCall is a creator of fake memes or he just fell for one since it fit his beliefs narrative but there is no such story with these numbers on Fox News Channel and these are not the available numbers from the CDC either.  (P.S. - Adding "Real" to your social media name does not make you real. :P )

Yes, the flu is down the past year which is natural because kids weren't going to school, parents weren't going to work, etc. -- but it's not down that much.

The "mass killing" that took place in Allen, Texas, by nutjob brothers who killed their family and then themselves is being reported on by many news agencies but most (if not all) of them are not showing the full documents.  

Here is the Instagram image from the main nutjobs page showing his family, followed by the multi-page rant explaining why he did it.  He even alludes to his brother knowing he was a nutjob and he simply lied about having mental issues in order to buy a gun.

When Cassidy voted along with the democrats that the trial should happen, he stated that he did so because the democrats presented evidence and Trump's legal team did a poor job of refuting that evidence.  Even President Trump was pissed at his legal team over the job they did.

While Trump's legal team came back in the second half doing a much better job and winning for Trump, Cassidy was still stuck with his initial vote and so many Republicans in Louisiana calling for him to be replaced.  He was officially censured by the LA Republican Party and excoriated on social media as well.

Maybe, he figures his only chance now of being re-elected is to get enough democrats to switch party lines and vote for him? 

He will likely face several well-known Republican candidates challenging for his seat in the next primary, but that is over five years away -- an eternity in politics.  Cassidy was just re-elected to the Senate in 2020 with 59.3% of the vote against a rather weak field of democrat candidates.

I think Cassidy was foolish to cross party lines in the first place but for some reason, that is something that Republicans do often and democrats almost never do.  I don't know why but that may be why there is the acronym, RINO (Republican In Name Only) and there is no acronym for DINO?  

This happens on the Supreme Court far too often where Republican President appointees will switch over and vote against the Republican side and democrat president appointees almost never go against the wishes of the democrat party.

Democrats stick together no matter how far-fetched, ridiculous, or outright stupid the issue is!  It's why I call them dummycrats and libtards.
