Support the Border Fence!

After being prompted by NumbersUSA.com, I sent a fax to Obama and the following letter to ALL of my elected State and U.S. politicians, using the Tea Party PAC Citizen Action Center. I hope any readers will do the same! It's a free and quick way of getting your word out to all of your politicians in a couple of clicks!

SA 4177, the DeMint amendment to the Emergency Supplemental bill, would require the Obama administration to complete the 700 mile-long border fence within 12 months. I expect MY Senators to prove they support border security and protecting Americans by supporting this amendment.

Criminals are smuggling drugs, people, and arms across the porous U.S. - Mexico border and the only way to help stop this trade is to complete construction of the southwest border fence. SA 4177 would ensure this occurs and recent data show the portion of the fence which has already been completed is helping to deter these smugglers. This helps keep Americans safe and helps put unemployed Americans, not illegal aliens, into American jobs. I expect MY Senators to prove their commitment to reducing border violence and putting Americans back to work by supporting SA 4177, Sen. DeMint's amendment to the Emergency Supplemental bill.

Further, for MY State elected officials and U.S. Representatives in Congress, I EXPECT YOU ALL TO DO EVERY THING IN YOUR POWER, INCLUDING WRITING SIMILAR LETTERS, PROPOSING LEGISLATION, CO-SPONSORING LEGISLATION AND ANY OTHER ACT NECESSARY TO START PROTECTING OUR BORDERS AND THROWING OUT ALL OF THE ILLEGAL ALIENS AND MAKE THEM GET IN THE BACK OF THE LINE FOR RE-ENTRY.
